Bida Tea Color Sorter Machine

How to choose high-quality tea

High quality:  The appearance of tea, including color, is an important factor in determining the quality of tea. Testing the shape, size, color, weight, and stem content of tea is closely related to tea quality.

High quality tea should be free from obvious impurities such as tea stems and yellow flakes, and have a high degree of uniformity.

The aroma of dry tea should be pure and consistent with the characteristics of tea. For example, the fragrance of green tea, the sweetness of black tea, and the aged aroma of Pu’er tea.

The tea color sorter is suitable for many tea products such as Tie Guan Yin, Longjing, Da Hong Pao, Pu erh, oolong, Mao Jian, etc.

Principle of Tea Color Selection Machine

The tea color sorter uses a high-definition CCD optical sensor to scan tea leaves, enabling precise identification of differences in color and shape for efficient sorting. Its working principle is based on advanced photoelectric sensing and image recognition technologies. As tea leaves pass through the conveyor belt, high-resolution cameras and light sources inside the machine capture the characteristics of each tea leaf and transmit this information to the built-in processor. The processor quickly judges whether the tea leaves meet the preset standards; upon detecting those with uneven color, foreign objects, or other non-compliant features, it removes them via high-speed air flow or pneumatic devices.
